Municipalities around Lake Winnipeg have enacted various bylaws to control building code issue, pets, noise, fire and other important aspects of life within their jurisdiction. The bylaws for Victoria Beach are provided below with the bylaws of the Rural Municipality of Alexander and the western shore beach communities for comparison purposes.

Victoria Beach bylaws

Victoria Beach has a specific bylaws dealing with dogs, fireworks, firearms, off road vehicles and noise to name a few issues. Remember ignorance is not a defence. Educate yourself as fines can reach over $1,000 per offence of a bylaw.

The Rural Municipality of Alexander is directly south of Victoria Beach starting at Saffie’s Road. It includes parts of Albert Beach, Belair, Lester Beach and most beach communities south to Grand Beach. To view the bylaws for the RM of Alexander click here
